Mr. Wicket
I just saw a little bit of the Mumbai game just now. Dhawan was very very average. Couldn't middle it, couldn't innovate, couldn't handle the pressure. Why is he playing for Mumbai? Has he just been brought in as a quota player to keep some Northie fans? graphic23
Haha. Yes, I think he's a quote player. Kick him out of the team. He's been fed bad balls in the domestic competition because he's from Delhi, and politicians paid for Dhawan to do well in the domestics. Get someone else in. amits
amits, if Rohit is a quota player, surely Dhawan is too. Why dont u see that? rohit sharma has been a continuous flop for the last 1 year. dhawan flopped in just 1 match. and dhawan isnt a quota player at all. if dhawan was a quota player, then he would have made his odi & test debuts till now

I heard Laloo speaks to his son everyday asking him about his training etc. nowdays

Both should have struck at least a couple of fours and a six as was the need of the hour... the last 3-4 overs were pathetic for Mumbai because both of them failed completely
amits
dhawan did try his best. it isnt easy so smash mendis for 6s when u r facing him for the 1st time in ur career. if players like tendulkar & dravid could struggle the 1st time they faced mendis, then y cant dhawan? and now if dhawan faces mendis again, he will smash him for 4s & 6s. also, dhawan was innovative & hit a 4. he only got out trying to force the run-rate up. also, mumbai didnt treat dhawan well & sent him in at 7 which isnt his natural position. dhawan, should never be sent below 4 and what ur rohit sharma did was increase the pressure. he played 19 balls & scored 18 with a sr of <95. he didnt allow the req run-rate to come down & instead kept it at around 7-7.5 when he was batting. and his quota connection is shashank manohar who is based in nagpur. even rohit sharma is originally from nagpur. shashank manohar, was even the same infamous nagpur curator of 2004

Also he is limited in his shot making as he cant come down the order and pelt the ball hence we conclude @gent dh@w@n is a QUOTA player. :marchmellow:
