zubinpepsi Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 yes.. i clicked some stupid link.. n now my computer has this sh!t.. my macfee doesnt clean this.. it only deletes it.. and im getting pop ups saying my pc is infected.. im sh!tting myself now.. experts pls help me now.. how do i clean up my system?? pls im in dire need of some helpful suggestions.. thanks

Then run ccleaner. Download Yahoo toolbar for forefox. From that toolbar, run the yahoo antispy a couple of times. Run ccleaner again. Your problem would have been solved by then.

SuperAntiSpyware and 2. AdAware Both are free so just search and download. Hopefully it will clean the infection.

Kohum Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 CCleaner should remove that file - if there's a process running in back ground you won't be able to delete it Carefully read the name of the file affected / virus name from the warning and check in Task Mgr, if there's a process by the same name. If there's - Kill it.
