Johnny Lever hasnt featured in a comedy movie in years and even Paresh Rawal is falling off a little. In recent years, I've been accustomed to watching people like Rajpal Yadav. And believe me, I've enjoyed watching him. But for now I still rank actors like PR and JL ahead of Yadav.

Anil Kapoor and Govinda matched each other scene for scene. In hasina maan jayegi his performance as uncle was brilliant. Paresh Rawal was also superb as the Nepali watchman. Coolie no1 is another nice comedy.

Coolie no1 is another nice comedy. At his prime he was a guy who could take you away from all worries for 3 hrs; often cheesy and OTT but sheer entertainment besides the ones you mentioned ek aur ek gyarah was hilarious:two_thumbs_up: When it came to comedy he could easily overshadow the biggest names in the industry whether Sanjay Dutt or Anil Kapoor or GodA (Amitabh) too!! His serious performances are most visible in Hatya and Awaargi

Anil Kapoor and Govinda matched each other scene for scene. Deewana Mastana is a very underrated comedy. I am not sure why it does not rank higher. I mean as far as I am concerned it was not too far from Hera Pheri in pure laughter. A couple of scenes that I remember: a) Anil Kapoor calling up Govinda. AK calls him names like Kutte, Kamine etc etc and each time Govinda replies deadpan Kaun Kutta bol reha hai bhai saab? Kaun kamina bol reha hai bhai saab. b) Govinda with Pappu Pager :hysterical: that entire scene is RLMAO. c) Gafoor (Johny Lever) hanging by the cliff and Govinda saving him. As AK keeps saying Oopar aaja Ghafoor, Govinda(who is holding JL's hand) replies - Isko nikaalo aur mujhe bhi nikaalo warna aapke Ghafoor Miyaan duniya se phoor ho jaayenge. The movie totally rocked! Songs were pretty darn good too - Tere bina dil lagta nahin, O mummy mummy
