cowboysfan
what realy irks me about traditionalists and english supporters is that they think t20 is fluky.English supporters like to beleive that their loss against Holland wa due to the very nature of t20.this is utter hogwash.England didnt manage a single six in their innings and they were still 100/1 after 11.from there to just get to 160 is a very poor effort for a international side with 9 wickets in hand. their fielding was atrocious too.they missed 7 relatively simple run out chances and 2 easy catches any of which could have won the game.the team which plays good cricket in 2 of the 3 phases of the game(batting, bowling and fielding) will generally win 9/10 times guaranteed.that is not a fluke. flamy
I wonder how big a margin Eng would have lost by if it was a 7 over game. Link to comment
Max_Cady
its not fluky but the short amount of time allows for smaller teams to make upsets because jus t one good performance is enuff to kill the other team example. yuvraj singh 41 from 17 balls today, difference between india losing and winning example 2. de grooth 50 against england yesterday Link to comment
