Ram Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 To see where our bowling and fielding strengths really stand. Win or lose, it will be really interesting to see how we go about defending this total. If we defend it really poorly and the windies win in 15-16 overs, then we all should probably water down our expectations from the defending champions. If we defend it hard and yet lose the match in a tight-finish, we can draw some comfort from that and yet there will be lots of causes for concern. If we defend it brilliantly and win by over a margin of 10-154 runs, then our championship hopes will still remain alive and kicking. Whatever said and done, this chase will be a good litmus test to see where our bowling and fielding stands.
