umpire Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 You must say Windies came out with better plan and tactics. 1) Opening bowlers bowling short pitch stuff. 2) And their biggest knock out punch was their best player of spin bowling i.e Bravo and Chanderpaul. Bravo was sent in at 4 when our spinners would have been bowling. Some of his shots were stunning. Thats were we lost the game.
Desi Cartman Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 we lost cuz I Sharma sucked ... plus out top order failed ... Baki kuch nahi
umpire Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 lets applaud Bravo's inning. It was delight. Some of the inside out shots were stunning.
Dirty_South Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I don't blame our players for losing the game..... I blame blue_brigade who started the match thread. For the future matches either Flamy or Cricketics shud open. To others - Just STFU. :--D
jf1gp_1 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Full credit to WI team, they came out to bowl with a plan and executed it well. Second innings we had the game in our control till 15 over but full credit to Bravo he won it for WI.
diegovegaz Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 ishant needs to be kicked out no yorkers, no effort while feilding just giving away boundaries off short balls
jf1gp_1 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 we lost cuz I Sharma sucked ... plus out top order failed ... Baki kuch nahi WI won because they played better cricket , 152 was a good score to defend specially when power play when for just 32 runs
yoda Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 dhoni says blame the media for starting a rumor that he has slowed down.
Desi Cartman Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 WI won because they played better cricket ' date=' 152 was a good score to defend specially when power play when for just 32 runs[/quote'] True ... we were still in the game till I Sharma PWNED i mean bowled the 17th over
cowboysfan Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 i agree-only flamy should start the match thread. BTW ,ban B_b.:giggle:
Guest Hiten. Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I knew this would come back to bite me. I actually bit the bullet against a totally unpredictable team but this is what I get for my bravery ? :sniffle:
jf1gp_1 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 True ... we were still in the game till I Sharma PWNED i mean bowled the 17th over WI needed 45 in last 5, India needed two 6-7 run overs instead we went for 30 in 2 overs thats where we lost it.
diegovegaz Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 our batsmen did a decent repair job to cross 150 it was our feilding and bowling that led us down
Guest gaurav_indian Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Yaar yeh toh hai nahi ke hum kabhi bhi nahi haarenge. It doesnt matter.Just win the last 2 matches and proceed. And we will do it.:isalute:
The Realist Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Lacking Intensity, Desire and Fight = Going Home Anybody who saw the game v West Indies will agree that India are going places - going home that is. A performance lacking in any desire or intensity was punished easily by a West Indies team that strolled to victory. India are short in many areas at the moment. The batting is vulnerable. The openers do not convince and the middle order is very rusty with little time spent batting out in the middle. Dhoni trying to be a poor man's Dravid at 3 has weakened the team more that he realises. The bowling is weak. Just does not look like taking many wickets and leak runs at will. Against Bang and Ire runs were given away at the start and end of the innings. Today the Windies upped the tempo during the middle and India could not keep up. Sharma is not a T20 player and his radar is all over the place. Khan looks overweight and is very slooow in the field. Singh cannot buy a wicket. The fielding is nothing to write home about. Ian Bishop during commentary said India have 3 very good fielders and the rest are ordinary. There are plenty of areas for the opposing team to target for easy runs. Some of the misfields today were shocking. When you add this up it does not equal success. India are just not at the party with the right attitude and will soon be relinquishing their WT20 crown.
cowboysfan Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 i am a pessimist guy by nature but all this OTT reactions is just crazy.we can still make the semis with the next 2 wins!!
