Params7
why would dravid be in an odi team now? Because he's a good batsmen when it comes to regular ODI's? flamy
But he hasnt played ODIs for so long now. They won't go back. They are preparing for 2011. Link to comment
fineleg
If Tendulkar is not going to tour WI, they should consider Dravid in the squad. West Indies are obviously going to try and make it bouncy and attack our batsmen with short pitch bowling. We need someone like Tendulkar or Dravid to give the class and solidity to our lineup. Have a mix of experience and youth to get the transition right. Link to comment

fineleg
^ I am not saying "no youngsters" flamy - Have a good blend. Rotate them and keep someone like Dravid or Tendulkar in the 11. They will learn from their experienced counterparts. Also, training is different and a lot of it will need to happen outside the International matches. Link to comment
Kohum
Good for Sach. This should really be an opportunity to test bench strength and a few promising youngsters like Rahane, Manish pandey, Naman Ojha, Goswami etc. Link to comment
graphic23
Damn. :(( Would've loved for Sachin to play in WI. Link to comment
