In ODIs we have 3 openers. So that's fine. How about Tests and T20s? Do we have openers to suit the different formats? I do no think Rohit is ideal for opening the innings. His talent is wasted up there. He is a good finisher. Who do you think India should go for when there is injury In Tests - M Vijay, D Karthik In T20s - Pandey, Kohli

Params7 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 It really doesn't matter here. Any 2 from 3 of them could open. All 3 of them are capable of opening or handling the 1st down role - They just need to bat well!
