Oldest fallacy in the book. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Your post is an intelligent one and I agree to the general principle. I would also like you to consider this, if I hold my hand out in friendship and get stabbed in the back for my trouble over and over again, how am I to trust? The Pakistanis will have to take the first step to establish trust and then we will reciprocate until then it is status quo bro.

Why can't it be us? Anyway I wonder how many of you that have lived all your life in India have ever met a Pakistani? I'd take a wild guess at none. I've a little anecdote about this, but this thread is going off topic for the cricket forum.

I have already suggested to you to open a thread in the Politics forum and I would be more than happy to debate with you on this point since you seem to be a reasonable balanced guy. Further, we have taken first steps before several times since 1997.

so do you want pakistan to control your Tamil Nadu kid?

I am a reasonable guy. Anyway the 'gora' comment was a bit misunderstood. What I meant was that Indians have more in common in Pakistanis than South Africans. Anyway SA aren't a gora team with Gibbs, Duminy, Amla, Ntini and co.

Actually, I am arguing the other way around. I am supporting the position that we don't owe Pakistan any favours.:winky::winky:

PS: Mods, can I request you to move the posts on this thread (IND-PAK relations related) to a seperate thread in the Politics section?

U two guys may be .But u know what' date=' for majority of the Pakistanis India's loss is ever sweeter than Pakistan winning the cup.[/quote'] When WI beat India..most of the pakistani cricket fans said WI made our day. These pakistanis don't deserve any kind of support.

So let's just sink to their level then? Is an internet message board representive of the whole of the Pakistani people. My local shop owner is his Pakistani and him and his whole family were supporting India (unless they played Pakistan of course).

Bandookiye(Gunner) and Mumbai Ke Phudakiye(Mumbai Skipper) stop these personal attacks on each other and derailing every other thread. Consider this a warning.
Agreed Sirji, not that I have anything personal against MSkip, just a very strongly different world view. I agree that it is insensitive of us to derail the main topic.

Are u sure Pakistanis were supporting Indians against Gora team England and SA ?
They were definitely not supporting India vs West Indies, I can assure you of that. And they really let people know they weren't supporting India. The behaviour of some of those people was really shocking
