Chinese - China Garden. No other restaurant comes even close to this one. Pricey, but if you want the BEST, you have to pay for it. * The New York Times voted China Garden one of the best restaurants in Asia, from amongst establishments surveyed in 80 cities across 23 countries. * Official recognition for setting and maintaining the best standards of cuisine, hygeine and service has been accorded to China Garden by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India. * China Garden has been adjudged eleven times as the 'Best Restaurant' by the Hotel & Food Service Review of India. China Garden was also adjudged as 'The Cleanest & Most Hygienic Restaurant' in the country. * The Tourism, Hotel and Catering Industry, Madrid has chosen China Garden as a most outstanding establishment and awarded it 'The Gold Trophy'. I think they have opened a branch in Khar.

For south Indian, Shiv Sagar at Churchgate is really good. Also there is this place called "Woodlands" which is renowned for its south Indian, but I am not sure where it is. Swati Snacks at tardeo/bhatia hospital has really good snacks, usual pav bhaji/dosa/idli and unique dishes like thalipit-pitla, bajri utappa, baked khichdi as well as baraf ka gola, sugarcane juice, and handmade "sancha" ka icecream along with malai malpuas.

Yes they have, and it's YUMMY!!! For amazing Gomantak seafood, best is Gajalee on Hanuman Road, Vile Parle (East). The Bombil Fry is HIGHLY recommended (it's rumored that Sachin Tendulkar is a big fan).

Mahesh Lunch Home is an excellent seafood place. For kebabs etc, Mumbai sucks compared to Delhi but the two decent places I had gone to were Bade Miya and Ayub's. For Chinese, this place in Oberoi was quite good as was the one in Taj that was gutted.

Mahesh Lunch Home is really good. And so is Gajali. The restaurant looks quite ordinary from outside, but usually is full of stars and celebrities and is quite in demand. Punjabi- Urban Tadka(4 bungalows), Masala Mantar(7 bungalows).

Yes, Mahesh Lunch home is quite good. Another very good place is "Trishna". Konkan cafe at the president is also quite superb. So is Goa Portugesa near Shivaji Park. For kebabs, Ayubs is good, but Bade's is much better. Infact I was at Bade's last night.. their roomali rotis and kebabs are to die for. There was this shady place at Worli naka called Cafe City which was quite good too, but it just shut down recently. BTW, You get Guiness,Hoegaarden, Stella, Amstel, etc at Cafe Royal (opposite regal):two_thumbs_up: And Society, at the Ambassador has a special promo going on right now.. they are selling Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, laphroaig, etc for 100 Rs.
