Yeah but 7-0 in Overseas Tests is far more worse than choking in 11 Odi finals out of which majority had little significance anyways . Confirm that with any Cricketing Legend . Captains are judged by their test performances generally in away matches and not those mickey mouse coco cola , fanta tournaments in Sharjah or Idea cup in Sri Lanka.

People remember the Titan cup and Natwest series win as much as the Adelaide test win. P.S. And we didnt win a single series away from Sub continent under Ganguly despite having 4 all time greats at their peak.Not even against lowly west Indies.

Just that if it was someone like Ganguly we would have choked in world cup final unlike winning under Dhoni.

They have rarely bowled any bad deliveries.[/quote'] we had australia 5 down for not much in 2008 sydney test ,the wicket had something in it,The wicket also seamed in 2008 at mcg and we struggled in 2003 at mcg it was good batting by viru but pitch had enough juice,Perth 2008 had actually more pace and bounce than this years pitch. You had guys bowling at 130 still ball was carrying better.

Ganguly won the Natwest Series in England and also the champions trophy in 2002 so I dont remember when did he lose 11 consecutive finals .

And u dont seriously remember Titan cup? The Srinath partnership with Kumble partnership in Bangalore is talked probably more than anything Srinath achieved as a bowler. This argument can be used either way. Yuvraj & Gambhir has won us two World Cups as far as my memory goes ! Rest is all a publicity stunt :finger:
