Alot of them are far more hardcore then he is. He's actually trying to mainstream-ise them which makes him appear less hardcore anyway. The thing is of course the people who vote for him are the kind of people who watch X factor and EastEnders not QT, so whether they actually watched him get taken apart is another issue. If they did it may have changed their minds. A lot vote without actually knowing enough about what he stands for im sure I loved it when that asian guy in the crowd went 'im proud to be brit, we'll have a whip round and get a ticket to send you out of the country..' lol. Quality. The rest of the candidates werent amazing. Jack Straw didnt do very well when asked about immigration. Warsi should have given a better response when Griff went on a rant about Islam- some of what he said was catergorically untrue.

Its something they may never had seen had he not been allowed on the show
