Doesn't make it any easier for those of us who stay behind in my experience. No matter how hard you brace yourself for the end, you're never quite prepared when that moment comes.

First a friend my own age died in a car accident back in Feb, then my 16 year old cousin from cancer in July, now this. But there are good things too! Another cousin had a baby (which makes me an official adoring aunt) and got married, and two more cousins are getting married in Desember. Guess now's a good time to focus on the positive

He was an example to us all. Would have completed his medical studies next year. Never failed a single subject, which is more than most of his healthy friends can say.
