Cool. There's an ice bar in London, maybe I'll visit it one day. Northern lights + ice bar/hotel = :two_thumbs_up: What they should have is a Dutch coffee shop + northern lights :D
You can take the dutch coffee shop to the northern lights. :D

Hey I have a question for you. I know that there is a very large Indian community in the Uk (including many good looking girls) and I have met a few british born Indians. But not sufficient numbers to form a clear opinion. So here is the question' date=' how do british born Indians perceive FOBs like me? Do they get along or not?[/quote'] tbh i think the term FOB or freshies as its otherwise known as isnt particularly fair for probably most of you that arent born in europe or other more "western" countries particularly when its well known that those of you who are educated up to and beyond masters etc are probably alot more articulate than many of the guys we have in comparison (BBCD's) :giggle: as for what we (or i) think, i guess i depends on how u present urself!! i mean if your gonna go round in govinda style jeans and greasy hair with paan shop red lips then that would make most of the girls here run for their lives but personally some of my best friends are what BBCD's would call freshies (and yes i do tease them about it :giggle: but the fact that they're also my friends goes to show that actually we BBCD's do get and can get along with FOB's

But I like govinda's style. :((:(( But I think many Indians are still affected by safedi ki chamkar. I think there are many Indian men and women who think the most horrible thing in their life would be to end up marrying an Indian. :winky:

I don't agree with that. Lately there has a surge of Indians coming to London. Having chatted to quite a lot of them they're happy marrying an Indian, it could an Indian from here (for citizenship) or someone from back home. But they would want a bed a gori lol.

It would seem that black americans have a serious objection to members of their community (atleast the successful ones) marrying white people. It also discussed marriages based on fetish. I was wondering whether the same type of fetish afflicts Indian people. There are some men / women I think who have an absolute fetish for a white person. I wonder why? If you replaced the white person with an african black person then the same people would express the nastiest form of racism. I am not sure what is the cause behind all this. What do you guy think? How do Indians stack up on this point?

Yeh a fetish for 'white wimminz' is very common with black males. But you rarely see black women go for white men. It may happen, but when you compare it to black men - white women, its pretty much non-existent. Coming to Indians. I'm not too sure, I personally don't have no white women fetish. Its interesting you bring up the racism point, because I have seen it 1st hand quite often, even myself I used to get bothered if I saw an Indian girl with a white guy. Like its some big disgrace, now I'm not too bothered, its their personal choice, if they're happy with that person, good for them.
