They should take it back to the older format where one of the teams was the national side and then we had 2 other teams. Last 2 years I don't think any of the regular ODI players have participated Link to comment

DomainK
Whatever it is, they will end up killing the goose that lays golden eggs. They will end up killing a large part of the market. But then Sharad Powar is not sure how long he will last in that position of profit. Someday he would be gone and someone else would be pocketing the money. So he wants to squeeze as much as he can while he can. Link to comment
CricketGirl
question is when sharad powar is out whoever comes in his place is likely to have learnt from his example can it get any better? its doubtful! Link to comment
Sachinism
Indian cricketers have always been taking part in these tournaments or at least playing for those teams. I guess now there is just more prize money, maybe they thought they wouldn't be able to attract the players to the tournament if they didn't havev good prizes Link to comment
jf1gp_1
CT start on 22nd sept, after 2 months of no cricket, this tournament would do them good before they move to the training camp and who knows maybe players themselves might have requested for some cricket before CT. Dhoni the captain, would have been very disappointed after what happened in T20 WC, his eyes would already be set on the CT cup. Link to comment
rahulrulezz
Rather than the board, it would be players fault to participate in the tournament.. Players are never forced to play...its upto them if they want to play.. Yes BCCI is an ass but hold your sticks for some other time... Link to comment
