goose
This isn't a quiz as such - i actually want to know the answer. I think around 25 wickets fell in one day. We got to see a a part of the 1st innings and 4th innings in the same day (or possibly the 3rd innings). Think Eng was hosting West Indies. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
One of em in the 2000 test series. Think the one where Caddick blasted out WI in double figures with a five-for and lots of swinging yorkers? Link to comment
Zelig
^^ But that's a 2 day test and the third inns started on the second day. http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63891.html Link to comment

Zelig
It is remarkable to note that the Windies declared with a day to play in this test match. http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/62624.html Link to comment

They always preferred a result either way than a draw. Link to comment

Yea...my father is a big Windies fan, so is my bro. I know about that famous Sir Gary's declaration match, but this match is a bigger surprise for me, setting 70+ runs to win!? Btw, of the 22 players who had played in the match, I know only Wally Hammond and Sir George Headley (the Black Bradman), my father says he is the best captain to walk on the cricket field EVER. Mr. Wicket
Alright, here is your answer http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/content/story/142274.html refer What is the shortest completed Test match? WI v. Eng in Sabina Park in 98 (I think, w.r.t to the year) Link to comment
Tapioca
WI v. Eng in Sabina Park in 98 (I think' date=' w.r.t to the year)[/quote'] That was the shortest Test match (not completed) but was beaten by the abandoned match at Antigua this year. The shortest decided Test match had 5 1/2 hours of actual play - Australia 153, SA 36 & 45. The pitch was rain affected. http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/14/14160.html Link to comment
