kabira Posted April 16, 2007 Share Posted April 16, 2007 What happens if fielder manages to stop ball going to boundary, he thinks he has stopped, but his feet just touched the rope....he throws back to keeper and there is run out at Striker's end?? What happens?? He is clearly not out as it was boundary.... Link to comment

According to the new regulations, the third umpire checks all doubtful boundary decisions regardles whether on field umpires refer it or no. So the batsman will be called back as soon as the third umpire watches the replay. Link to comment
