By the way, the reason why rest of the folks here are a bit miffed is because we've earlier had a huge discussion on whether Hindi is the national language of India or not, and your comment sorta brought it up again.

It is spoken by almost the whole of India. It's about time southies started to desert their regional languages and start adopting hindi too.
