vvvslaxman
To tell you the truth' date=' with our bowlers and no viru or yuvi, I expected us to lose, so in that sense its not so hurtful, [b']but the performance was poor and we still could have beaten them, so it hurts a bit there That was expected. In recent times that is what we have been getting from our bowlers. Allowing opposition to score 300 plus consistently. Link to comment

Allowing Afridi to get away with figures like 2 for 39 against us. It was painful to watch Dravid marvelling at his leg breaks . We never paid him any respect. Why all of a sudden. Link to comment

India have not played Pak in almost 2 years and during that period Afridi has improved alot and can make into any ODI team as a specialist spinner alone. Link to comment

Wasn't he walloped in T20 warm up match by Gambhir and Rohit? Link to comment

Basically if the opposition bowls good balls you should resign yourself and lose? He consistently came on frontfoot to balls to which he had to go on backfoot. Even Nick Knight mentioned it. He basically didn't try to unsettle afridi upfront which we always do. That is why he has poor record against us in all formats. Link to comment
Celeste
Wasn't he walloped in T20 warm up match by Gambhir and Rohit? Gambhir is an excellent player of spin and I am talking about ODIs. In 20/20s, spinners have only 4 overs and dont try their variations and most of them just bowl darts in the pads. Link to comment

He is always circumspect. It so happened He faced more than half the deliveries from Afridi. Link to comment

shak
What??? You cannot be an Indian fan if the defeat is not wrenching you inside. What an idiotic assertion to make when saying that "this defeat ain't hurting"! Link to comment
