Yes, Dhoni's aura is fading. Not because he's doing a bad job as a captain, but because the law of averages is catching up with him. He had been perched onto too high a pedestal by the fans and expectations were no longer reasonable. A few defeats, and people will start seeing him as a good captain rather than a magician at the helm. He is doing a good job as captain, and he trusts his instincts on the decisions he takes. Mostly they work, but sometimes they backfire. So what's the big deal? Give him a break! Stop judging him after every couple of wins or defeats.

But i blame mostly on the stupid IPL scheduling. He can have off days. His positives far outweighs his negatives.
