nikred
There are some idiots who'll think this thread doesn't exist, lmao Just goes to show Tendu's real greatness. He'll always be judged on his failures, and others will be judged on their success. This quote just sums it up. :cantstop: Link to comment
satishg
Now Sriram should read his comments in this thread and then take a look at his yuvraj thread :D Link to comment

bunny
In Dravid's defense the only thing I can say is that rather than underperforming with the bat, he underperforms with his running. He has a tendency to get run out a lot in chases (has to be because of the pressure). While that's not a good thing in itself, it might work as an excuse ;) Can anybody get RD's (and other's) stats not counting run outs? Btw, Gambit how are you getting all these stats? Cricinfo seems quite unusable for this purpose. Link to comment

doubt
an article in cricinfo http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/340239.html details about the run chase during the last 4 yrs, where sachin did not do well. Dhoni did exceedingly well. Link to comment

Dhoni did exceedingly well. Dhoni constructs the chases very well. You feel safe when he bats. I don't have the same feeling with other batsmen when India chase. His averages reflect that. Show_stopper
M S Dhoni is clearly the best out of the lot but his awesome numbers are primarily because of his audacious batting between 2004-2007. I expect that average and SR to slide. Just to present the other side of the arguement...one can say the above would be true for Sachin as well..except the time period being the 90's. Link to comment
