F**k Harbhajan! Why T.f. Does He Get In Every Single Squad? He Is The Most Over Rated Piece Of S**t I Have Ever Seen, I Hope The Aussies Destoy Him And End His Career, Which He Has Been Living On Of The Back Of One Fluke Series In '01.
Ridiculous rant. Ask Ponting who he owns? His record is very good in all forms of the game, as evidenced by him being in top 10 test bowler rankings for ages now and currently number 5!

Harbajan is a great bowler, I think that he deserves to be in the team he usually plays well against us (aussies) anyway. Also, just on Ishant Sharma I understand that he has been poor for you lately, but I think he is one that is worth persisting with because he has the potential to be the best bowler in the world. He really does have that potential. From a neutral point of view the danger men that I see affecting Aussies chances of winning are Sehwag first and foremost, if we don't get him out early then could be in for long days in the field. I would say Tendulkar as well because he is Tendulkar after all, add Ghambir to that list and Harbajan! I think that whilst he may be inconsistent, he has that x factor about him and on his day is lethal. I am glad Yuvraj is not playing because he is a big dangerman! But I'm sure you guys are glad Haddin isn't playing too..

Agree Ishant has tremendous potential and no one is saying he should be dropped and never picked again. But he needs to be dropped so he can sort himself out and come back more the finished article

Last Three Years in and against South Africa and Australia So the rant is not completely unnecessary, but under Home conditions he would be a totally different proposition and against an Aussie Lineup without Clarke and Haddin (IMO are the two best players of quality spin bowling). So I think he should do well.

The fact that Bhaji is by miles the best better out of the bowlers is a key factor. His batting has come on so much that he is almost a 50% all rounder
I would love to replace the All-Rounder Bhajji with the Attacking Bhajji, who would give me 2-3 wickets against opposition like Australia and South Africa in seamer friendly condition. But, unfortunately that has not happened lately abroad, which is why need to look beyond Harbhajan for ODI's abroad.

ridiculous.what has ojha done wrong to merit this treatment?
CBF, Its the squad for the first two ODI's, between Mishra and Ojha, Mishra got the nod, wouldn't make any sense to keep three spinners in the squad, especially with the series being in India. If there is a drop in performance from either of the spinners, then Ojha would be an automatic selection.

i agree with sooda.jadeja is completley wasted down the order(as is kohli by the way) my team viru sachin gg raina yuvi dhoni kohli(i would strongly recommend sending him @ before yuvi, yuvi can hit from ball 1,kohli cannot) bhajji ishant tyagi nehra. we have a great batting lineup and we need it because we are looking at big scores in most of the matches.

Real good selection  Dravid didn't deserve the axe, but maybe the selectors have spoken to him about the way forward before selecting him for SRL series and CT Good to see Sudeep Tyagi and Jadeja given chances and Great to see the Crapthan brothers no where in the frame Sree should have scraped in, but maybe it more due to his monkey antics and indiscipline Perplexed to see Ishant retained, maybe they think to have him part of the squad and nuture him back to form, importantly for tests, i dont think he will in 11 Our Batting lineup is back with a bang and looks rock solid with Power hitters from 1 to 7 Even Virat has shown he is a clean striker

So if every player is wasted at number 7, should we leave that spot vacant? No we can't. And one of the batsmen have to take over that job. It is a specialist position where you are expected to score rapidly and don't get too many opportunities to build an inning and pace it accordingly. Even Sachin batted at number 6 in 91-92, if I'm not wrong. One has to adjust according to the situation.

so how does it make sense to keep FIVE pacers in the squad for 2 ODIs.spin is our strength n Ojha deserves to be there on merit

bad squad.Dravid's exclusion is understandable but i hope unlike last time he has been taken into confidence. why the heck is Ishant still there.he has been a problem but wat do they do?sack Prasad?liiogical. wat has DK done wrong to be axed.whos gonna be our no.7.Jadeja?Karthik or Uthappa should have been in. whos the allrounder in the squad?wat has Nayar done so terrible to be drpped?n why not Irfan? all in all a bad squad.i dont think we'll beat Aussies with this squad.i'll be surprised if we r close wat has Jadeja done since he was dropped?he is clearly raw n needs time.
