Guest Gunner
Please read this article in case any of you have missed it. Written by the late Rajan bala about Rohan Kanhai. Wonderful player and great batsman for the West Indies. He had a huge fan following among the Indians of the 1970s. http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/428429.html Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Thanks for sharing that Gunner. Great read. Kanhai is one of those players I would have loved to watch. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Yes. In fact Rohan Gavaskar was named after Kanhai. Link to comment
coffee_rules
I collegue of mine at work from caribbean claims Kanhai is the best WI bat of all times. He places him even higher that IVAR or Sobers or Lara. He doesn't have a bulging 50+ average, but he faced better bowlers and was a solid bat. Don't know about him being the best, but definitely a WI ATG in the top 3. Link to comment
