jf1gp_1
Re: Shocking news Simple Law of Nature : If there are people willing to get screwed there will always be people who will do the honors. Well put. I read some place that players have to sign some contract before leaving for BD. I just wish for once our players took some sort of stand. Can you imagine if Top 20 refused to sign ? but like winning a test series in Aus this also is a dream. Link to comment
Chandan
Re: Shocking news There will be a stand-off, don't worry. But obviously all of you will vilify players for that!! Link to comment
jf1gp_1
Re: Shocking news But obviously all of you will vilify players for that!! Not for this issue. Sehwag, Dhoni, Bhaji may not have had a good world cup but its there past performace which helped BCCI earn 600+ mil deal with numbus for tv rights. Infact every player who was part of the international team when this deal was made should have got 1 to 2 mil each based on yrs with team and every domestic player should have got .25 to half a mil each. Predator_05
Re: Shocking news It's common knowledge that our dweebs make most of their money off endorsements and commercial contracts, and not actual match-fees. You won't be seeing change anytime soon. Link to comment
kabira
Re: Shocking news Players should tell BCCI f@ck off and let us play cricket...if you do not want to pay...so be it.. Right now BCCI has upperhand and once our team starts winning, you will see BCCI back down.. Link to comment
Miraz
Re: Shocking news Is it true!! Can you please provide a link for the news? It's unbelievable from an organization like BCCI. AFAIK, BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) clear players payment after every tour. Link to comment
jf1gp_1
Re: Shocking news Right now BCCI has upperhand and once our team starts winning, you will see BCCI back down.. dont think so, if the current set refuses to go and we end of sending B team which gets thrashed in BD, Pawar and co would have a lot to answer. Ofcourse players have to give good reasons as to why they refused to sign the contract. Link to comment
