If that trade had been offered a year ago, it may have worked (as Australia may have taken in Porky from Punjab just for his spinning skills). Right now we need to find another way to get rid of Yuvraj. Maybe trade him to Bangladesh for Sackable Hasan?

The agression itself that the two opening bowlers bowled with softened the Pakistani Top Order, the dissmisals of Butt and Umar were classic Test Match first session wickets. About Bollinger, the more I see of this guy, the more he impresses. Gives a 100% in every spell, hits the deck, gets steep bounce, heck he was the pick of the bowlers in India of all places. I think he should be one of the first names on the list when picking an Ozzie Eleven.

He is set to play in the 2nd test match against West Indies as Hilfenhjaus misses out due to injury. How do you think he will go ? And do you guys rate him much ? I'm very happy for him that he's getting this chance as its been a long time coming and reckon that he's one to watch ouit for! Hope I haven't put the jinx on him lol.
Doug Bollinger is a very distinctive left arm pacer. Distinctive because of method, temperament and approach. In all these ways he is your typical right armer. Strong bustling action, direct approach and almost copybook release. He is also a hit the pitch kind of bowler and relies on accuracy and tenacity to get his wickets. Movement - off the seam or in the air - is rather limited. He makes up for that with consistent pace and unfailing accuracy. I dont remember too many left arm pacers exhibiting this set of qualities. That is why I call him a distinctive left armer. Personally I dont think he would have made it to the squad in Australia's heyday. Dont get me wrong. He is not a bad player. But he would not have made it to the squad when bowlers of the quality of Damien Fleming waited in the wings for Australia. ________ real estate in Pattaya

Hilfenhaus can only be a threat at the highest level if he can find a camouflaged incoming delivery. Seamer, cutter or swinger, whatever that may be. Without that he is just a straight up outswing bowler. His pace does stand him in good stead. That tad of variation can really set him up. ________ INFANT DEPAKOTE
