Superstition is another source of self inflicted modesty which is rather hollow. A number of our players are quite superstitious and that might be the source of their modesty. Link to comment

Modesty is like a insurance against that sort of consequence, and also, many players can fake modesty to win people like you over who consider to be a virtue. :dontknow: .
