Texy Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 DO NOT USE the new D2.VU site. The .VU site is apparently hosted in the US on a .com domain. This is possibly a phishing site by the law enforcement to track down ip of the users. This site is NOT managed by the original demonoid staff or owners. Be careful.
StriKe Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 http://torrentfreak.com/demonoid-resurrected-an-interview-with-the-admins-of-d2-vu-130509/ http://torrentfreak.com/new-demonoid-d2-vu-quickly-shutdown-for-hosting-malware-130508/ Yesterday the torrent world lit up with news that Demonoid had somehow been resurrected under the new domain D2.vu. However, the site was quickly taken offline by its host in the U.S. who claimed that it was serving up malware. With the site now back online with a new host, TorrentFreak caught up with its admins who tell us they have no malicious intent and simply want to bring a community back to together. While there is still uncertainty, one thing is absolutely clear – they do have the old Demonoid database. “No former admins have been involved with this rebranding or launch. This effort is independent and undertaken entirely for the benefit of the community. We do welcome past community moderators to help with d2 if they wish,” we were told.
Crookbond Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Why are people crazy about Demonoid? You can get similar (if not better) torrents on kat.ph
StriKe Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Why are people crazy about Demonoid? You can get similar (if not better) torrents on kat.ph I agree they are better torrent site now but back in old days they were good.

Sachin=GOD Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Ebooks. Demon had the beat ebook database imo No. You want ebooks - go to mobilism.com
Old guy Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 No. You want ebooks - go to mobilism.com yeah this is good site too but there are tons of comics and audiobooks which u cant find anywhere else hope this time they make back up of torrents and upload it some where else :hysterical: piratebay did this and now every one has back up of its torrents :P
Jersey #10 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Sure there are plenty of good torrents nowadays but back in the day there were mainly just two. piratebay and demonoid demonoid offered that forum style user friendly experience with a rich content. They had their time at the peak alright...so stop comparing people
