Aus would be better of making batting tracks. It will negate Pak bowlers and Pak batters are capable of a collapse on the flattest of tracks
U r absolutely right... it's why as a pakistani i hope pitches will have a litle bit for bowlers... On any pitch i think boolinger, sidle and mitch will take farhat, butt, faisal iqbal, misbah's wickets cheapey... But for pak bowlers, even if i think they are good, to take wickets they will ned a litle support from the wicket, because aussies batsmen are very good, ponting, katich, hussey clarke... Even watson, haddin, north are good.

So guys we are not too far from the first test, that will be my XI for pakistan : Salman Butt Imran Farhat Mohammed Yousuf Umar Akmal Faisal Iqbal Fawad Alam Kamran Akmal Mohammed Amir Umar Gul Danish Kaneria Mohammed Asif Hmmmm the batting really doen't look stron enough to face aussies... A lot will depend on Mohammed yousuf and unfortunately we will also depend on a 19 year old Umar akmal... I have hopes towards fawad alam, he is hard worker... I just wish they will play them.. Kamran Akmal can also be good on his day.. Bowlig looks fine, we are surely lacking the all rounder, i am afraid our bowlers get tired...

Pak counting on spinners, likely to play both Kaneria, Ajmal in first Test at MCG Pakistan have arrived in Australia, and they mean business. Can they topple the Aussies, who come off the back of a series win over West Indies? More... Pak counting on spinners, likely to play both Kaneria, Ajmal in first Test ANI Tuesday, December 22, 2009 18:22 IST Email Melbourne: With reports suggesting that the pitch at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) would offer some help for the spinners, Pakistan are mulling over the option of playing two spinners in the first Test against Australia starting December 26. The final decision regarding the team's build-up would be taken in next couple of days, but team officials have not ruled out including both leg-spinner Danish Kaneria and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal in the final eleven for the Boxing Day Test. "Playing (in the first Test) with two spinners is certainly an option for us," The News quoted Pakistan team manager Abdul Raqeeb, as saying. "Both Danish and Saeed have been bowling well. And the fact that Australia faced a few problems against West Indian spinners recently has made us think about having two spinners in the playing eleven," he added. Kaneria, who is Pakistan's most successful spinner with 245 wickets from 56 Tests,is almost certain to play in Melbourne after taking 13 wickets in Two Tests during the just concluded three match Test series against New Zealand. Meanwhile, MCG pitch curator Cameron Hodgkins has said that he is hopeful about striking the right balance between bat and ball for the first Test. Hodgkins predicted that the pitch would not be too batsman-friendly, which has been the nature in matches at the MCG so far this season. "So far there's been good pace and carry and the good bowlers are getting wickets. In the last game there was plenty of grass, but the only ingredient missing was there wasn't much nibble," Hodgkins said.

Finish..dead and buried in 3 days. Kapish!! Seriously I don't expect Pak to put up as much of a fight as WI did recently..which will re-affirm their status as test Cricket's worst non-minnow team.
