Temujin Khaghan
After seeing his epic movie "AVATAR" a lot of people are going overboard indeed... But the question is - Is James Cameron right up there with creative geniuses who are known to the human-kind...and people who will be remembered as long as the human-kind exists? Or is he just going to be something special for this generation and as technology improves and more superior and sophisticated ways of movie making come into practice, he will just be forgotten and his movies will be just as good as the other hollywood classics. Because in the end movie making is inferior to the more immortal arts like sculpture, painting, poetry and music. Is that the reason or do you have any thing else to say? Sooda
I dont think music making is inferior to art, sculpting and music I do think its inferior to literature. Im not sure Cameron is even the best film director around today (mind you I havent seen Avatat, but seen a few of his other films)...for that reason he cannot be compared to those guys
