MUMBAISKIPPER
P@ki bowling attack's history and present are unimpressive...they had drug addicts, chuckers, ball tampering cheats in the past..and that's how they pick up 300/400 odd wickets in tests and one-dayers and the world says they are "talented"....their current bowling attack has a charsi in Asif..also Afridi and Shoaib "Actor" are brilliant chuckers..so in my opinion, forget about over-rated or not, pakistani bowling attack should not be rated at all Link to comment
CSK Fan
Australia has already decalred thrice in 5 innings in this series. Compare this to India's tour in 2003 and 2007. They were 4 match series. In 8 innings in 2003, Aus declared only once and in 2007 Aus declared only twice in 8 innings. So much for a superior bowling attack! Link to comment
dr_tooley
^ Big deal - we have a thread on ICF asking for the recall for our very own Sami. You really don't have a good attack. Indeed it is one of worst. My comment was just to say to leave out Sami who had effectively created your chance to win in Sydney by polishing off the first 3 for nothing, seemed idiotic. This was compounded by not picking Younis Khan effectively your best batsman at the moment. As such I think the ability of selectors is as much in question as you bowlers. B-> Link to comment
dr_tooley
So the great Pakistani attack. Couldn't defend a total 274? What was it this time? Indians sabotaging the pitch or maybe ball. Or is it simply that they really aren't ODI standard as well as Test Standard?:haha::haha::haha: Link to comment

Ram
Asif, Aamer, Rana/Gul, Afridi and Ajmal is quite a handy attack. If Pakistan can set right its top-order travails, they'll certainly win more than they lose. Link to comment

bharat297
They arent a bad attack but theyre only good in short bursts. I think thats because they havent played many Tests so many of their bowlers arent capable of maintaining pressure for long periods of time. But the problems with Pakistan cricket at the moment are a lot bigger than simply a lack of quality bowlers at the top level. They extend right down to the grass roots level. Unfortunately, that doesnt look like its gonna change any time soon. Link to comment
