I couldn't bother to check but 1967-8 series between England and WI came mighty close In the first Test, WI followed on 205 behind, became 180 for 8 and then finished on 243 for 8 In the second, England again forced WI to follow on but thanks to a Sobers hundred on an extremely unplayable wicket, WI set England 159 in 155 minutes. England finished on 68 for 8 England won the fourth Test with three minutes to spare, thanks to two Sobers' declarations at 526 for 7 and 92 for 2 In the last, England was set 308 but ended on 206 for 9 http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Seasons/WI/1967-68_WI_Marylebone_Cricket_Club_in_West_Indies_1967-68.html

Sobers and Wes Hall batted out after WI lost the 8th wicket. IIRC, it was on this occasion that Hall was asked whether he worried that he would lose the wicket and WI the match. Hall replied that losing his own wicket never entered his mind, but he was not so sure about the batting of the fellow at the other end.

I dont mind the 2 draws by Eng in this series. Pushes ratings of SA further down ensuring us a longer stay at the top. :winky: Main to kehta hoon' date=' let england repeat this in the last test as well :--D[/quote'] We will be pushing them down next month anyways - Smith and his overrated team will get a sound beating from our boys to take revenge for 2008 when they were gifted a victory on the ridiculous Ahmedabad pitch.
