Johnson pitches short of a length, Gambhir gets up and plays away from the body, getting a regulation outside-edge but Hussey drops a simple catch going forward at second slip .... by his extreme standards that was a regulation slip catch ... Ponting looks ticked 13.3 Johnson to Gambhir, 1 run, dropped again! By Ponting! Johnson looks on in frustration as Gambhir pokes at another short one and edges to first slip, where Ponting jumps up, gets hands on it, and allows it to pop out of his palms! ponting gets pawned .. :hehe: :hysterical: any more instances of pawnage on cricket field .. pls add :winky:

I think in 2008, especially the second half, Australia's slip catching was terrible. It was like they were all infected with some virus that made their hands slippery. Everyone in the slips dropped catches regularly.
