Bhaji is best spinner in the world!

Warne is gone, Kumble is gone, Murali is as good as gone! There is no doubts now that Bhaji is the best spinner in the world now! Although am sure a lot of blind haters are not going to like this fact!:--D In tests and odis he has consisitently been good for years now and is the premier spinner in world cricket now. He has been doing it for a number of years and keeps on putting in top perfromances and taking wickets. He is ranked in the top 10 for both tests and odis, the only spinner in the world who does this! The other contenders are inferior. Vettori does not take enough wickets, Swann has been around not long and bowled on very friendly tracks, Mendis flatterd to decieve. Harris and Hauritz are pants. Kaneria leaks runs. Conclusion Bhaji best spinner in world. So come on Indians lets get behind Bhaji and recognise we have the best spinner in the world:isalute:

Bhajji is a good spinner but IMO he is second best to Vettori.I know saying just this dont satisfy you all who think Bhajji is no.1.My points are : 1) Vettori has been bowling in NZ conditions where there is nothing much really for the spinners and has been consistently performing well.He doesnt have a game where he has not been effective, on the other hand Bhajji is good on good turning tracks.He is not good in other bouncy tracks which do not assist spinners. 2) Vettori not only has a wide variety of lengths he bowls, but he also varies the pace along with his angle, movement and the no. of rotations he gives to the ball, he also varies his flight according to the batsman and judge their quality.He is definitely more versatile than Bhajji. 3) His economy rate is lower than Bhajji and he picks crucial wickets too.He can bowl as per the field and is useful in powerplays as well, Bhajji looks to bowl very flat in powerplays and also bowls quick as much as 108ks whereas there is no need for Vettori as he can outfox the batsman by varying the length.Bhajji can be taken for plenty and he can be talored by suing the pace at which he bowls.Vettori is hard to get away. So IMO in Tests and ODIs and definitely in T20s Vettori > Hrabhajan, but the difference is very minute.They are both world class bowlers

Harbajan is better in tests, Vetorri is better in One days. That's what I think.

^ Mendis is one of those "other types" but his stock ball is the off spinner, but i have never seen him bowl an off spinner by tossing the ball up and rotating the seam, hes just bowled it with his fingers, in and around them, he surely is an unorthodox kind of a bowler. :hysterical:

i reserve proclaiming bhajji has best spinner until the end of year where he would have played considerable amount of matches to judge .. bhajji was best spinner few seasons back but his latest dart skills will take him nowhere ..

I think we have seen enough of Bhajji in past 10 years, his class as a spinner.Judging by his current performance is not good, he is a class spinner,form is temporary and class is permanent.So i think we have seen enough of bhajji and we dont have to keep seeing him till the end of this year or two years to declare whether he is a class bowler or not. Its like saying Jayasuriya is just an ordinary player on current form basis, no one will forget what he has given to International cricket, the correct use of powerplays and he is still devastating on his day.So just check what have you typed, twice before posting Mr. Champu :giggle:

^Well it has to be done on current form! In which case it is probably Swann though Bhajji has been bowling on flat pattas where really he should have been given good turning wickets at home to win us matches.

Swann has been bowling on difficult pitches, in South Africa and even England pitch isnt assistant for spinners.So Swann stands out this year, but still its Vettori as my all time favourite

this is not about whether he has class or whether he is best spinner in india .. this is about best spinner in world as title suggests .. u r only saying he is not in best form off late and still say he is best spinner in world currently.. isn't that contradicting ur own statement ? he is a classy bowler with amazing variations .. no doubt ..

Bhaji would have loved to have bowled on tracks that Swann has had. They have had bounce and turn. You did not watch the games Swann bowled on did you?:--D

Bhajji is indeed the best spinner at the moment (or may be Vettori), and that is a statement on the quality of spin bowling globally. Or are we spoiled by the likes of Warne, Murali and Kumble?
