Desi Cartman
I was just checking the start time for India vs Bangladesh Test matches and it seems they are supposed to start at 11am everyday and then have lunch at 12 :dontknow:. Even if its a typo and they really are supposed to start at 10 then why is it that if there is a delayed start then the lunch break is not delayed. These small things make the match referee and ICC look stupid. I understand that players need to eat but cant they play continuously for 2 hrs before taking a lunch/tea break. This who thing just doesnt make any sense Hours of play (local time): 11.00 start, Lunch 12.00-12.40, Tea 15.10-15.30, Close 17.30 Link to comment
Laaloo
Exactly. We could have gotten about 25-30 overs in. It's pathetic Link to comment
Gunner_Mania
I think those are the Hours of play that actually took place the first day and haven't been changed by cricinfo. Link to comment
Anakin
It's probably more to do with TV than players Link to comment
Desi Cartman
I think those are the Hours of play that actually took place the first day and haven't been changed by cricinfo. I dont think its correct either as the 2nd session is for 2.5 hrs which is unusual. But the main question still remains, why cant the break times be altered just like for ODIs and T20s ? sachinrox
Lunch time should be shortened to about 20 mins. and there should not be any tea, as one can have tea later on after the game is over or if he wants tea, he may as well get out and go to the pavillion for having a nice lil cup of hot tea.
