I was too young to experience the Chennai loss to Pakistan, perhaps a good thing going by the reactions of fans here. It suddenly makes me feel old and reminds how long ago this game was and how much India has progressed over the years while Pakistan has gone the other way.

Came close but got angry on the team then shed a tear when the team lost to Sri Lanka in 2007 wc. After losing to bangla, we still had a chance to make it to the final, but after collapsing under pressure against S.L, we were virtually out or had to rely on Bermuda to defeat Bangladesh, which was never going to happen. That defeat against Lanka hurt a lot. Had been waiting for that 2007 world cup to start for a long time. Was very eager and knew that that Indian team was something special and would definately do good. But what happend was quite shocking and unbelievable.

I didn't cry - but I was absolutely distraught when Harmison got Kasper in the 05 Ashes with just 2 runs needed to win..

I remember watching that match, was in India, we were about to leave to go on travels, but I made sure I finished the match before leaving

1999 - Chennai Test, that dramatic collapse after Mongia and Sachin's dismissals. Easily the worst day of mine as a die hard Indian fan. Akram and Co. celebrating, made my blood boil. WTF could we loose to team that had just lost at home to Zimbabwe and we had literally toyed with Mark Taylor's Australian team before that.

Them bloody animals. Seriously at times their behavior was OTT, getting Sachin out quite often led to homosexual behavior among the Pakistani players

With all due respect, the Saffies have only themselves to blame. OTOH the WIndies were unduly done in the cup as one team(NZ) decided not to tour another country(Kenya) and that paved way for the WIndies exit. Add to this their rain affected match against Bangladesh which ended in a draw and WI lost a valuable point.

It's not about being macho you clown. It's about enjoying the game and not taking it like life and death. I see fans all over the world praying for their teams to win, some of them don't even pray for their own mothers well being. Some of these fans will go so sad and depressed when their side loses like the world has ended. Get a life you losers, it's just a game, someone wins, someone loses.
