Ram Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 was affected by the Toyota recall in the US. Us Indians love the Japanese reliability. Any personal stories of accelerator pedals getting stuck underneath floor-mats while you were hurtling down the inter-state at 80 mph? :giggle:

But once I had experienced a similar thing when a loose tennis ball got stuck under the pedal, I was not able to slow down, even the brakes will not work. I put the car in neutral, the car revved up, but didn't go forward, broke the pedal wire, but I was able to shore up to the shoulder and survive.
