patriot Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Aussies brought up on sledging, Pakistanis on ball tampering, so what - Ramiz Raja. http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/447127.html Afridi comes from an era, a cricketing culture, where ball-tampering is considered a normal cricket activity, the done thing on flat Pakistani pitches - an art form and not a sin. It's been a part of the Pakistan team's standard operating procedure. All teams have one. The Aussies have been brought up on sledging, and while the rest may see it as uncouth, offensive behaviour that is against the principles of this game, it is appreciated by them as a legitimate weapon to be used against oppositions. England moan when they make a tour of the subcontinent, and maybe this is part of their operating procedure. These padosees will justify everything even murder. Is pitch tampering, charas, rogue umpiring also a part of standard operating procedure in Pak, Ramiz ?
Vikas Bhatt Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 @ Rameez Raja & Afridi - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Gunner_Mania Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Where was he when Oval-gate was happening? Wasn't he commenting in England at that time? Why didnt he come out and say all this at the time? More amunittion for Mr Hair. Can he sue the ICC & Pakistan after this??
Gunner_Mania Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 :woot::woot: Zakky Sorry, Wrong thread!! Got excited about Zak's first wicket
DomainK Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/447127.html These padosees will justify everything even murder. Is pitch tampering, charas, rogue umpiring also a part of standard operating procedure in Pak, Ramiz ? ball-tamperingMurder? It happens in every country. It's a part of their culture just like ball tampering is. It's an art form. Calling ball-tampering murder unlawful and an offence is regrettable.
akshayxyz Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 that just made my day .. All the worms are finally comming out of the woodwork .... keep in mind that Rameez was a captain and later the head of PCB. thanks for sharing :winky: exactly my thoughts. I want more and more pakis coming forward and support their mates, with all their 'intelligent" reasonings. Better than most of the reality (& Comedy) shows on TV.
vvvslaxman Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Afretard has really done a dumb thing. It is going to haunt Pakistan forever.
akshayxyz Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 For those who don't understand 'unlawfulness' of tampering or meaning of cheating. Even if certain methods of 'keeping' the ball are made 'cric-legal', padosis will still be able to stretch the rules and imagination of everyone else. It is about attitude of trying (at least) to win while staying within in the established rules Or choosing the 'short-cuts' - since you just don't have it in you to win within the rules.
akshayxyz Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Afretard has really done a dumb thing. It is going to haunt Pakistan forever. As much dumb as it was - but he did the right thing, he has helped open a big can of worms.
Rajan Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 some of his statements are sensational to say the least. almost a confession statement.Pakis would cry.
Rajan Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 correction- all PAKISTANI teams tamper with ball. now, i agree 100% with what they say and exactly what Afridi told the Geo TV interviewer as a matter of fact. The recent Rameez article confirms their expertise and experience.
achilles Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 :listen_dawg: Art form? Not a sin??? Miyan ki taang upar, Rameez? :withstupid: Is it this difficult for you, Imran & the other guys to accept that what your fellow Pakistani's are doing is ILLEGAL? :finger: Rather than behaving like men, accepting the mistake and getting on with it, you guys are going around blaming every team in the world for being tamperers! Wow. What else can be expected from hypocritical bigots like Imran.
bhanu Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 take it ez now..he only bite the ball and good thing is dat he ddint hide it or anything he did it in front of the world showiing how brave he is...so relax now
Bradman99 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Comparing ball tampering to sledging is like comparing McDonald to Watson. One is completely worse then the other.
vvvslaxman Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 take it ez now..he only bite the balland good thing is dat he ddint hide it or anything he did it in front of the world showiing how brave he is. ..so relax now :hysterical: This is one of the series of mind-numbing logic that i have been hearing since this incident.
