Basically it's used to share our picasa albums, google reader and other google gadgets (even our gtalk status) with our friends (known here as followers). Let's see what it does after people whom I am following shares something.

Seems like a child compared to other networking sites, but since its inside gmail, it may be used quite a lot more than it otherwise would have been. I am sure that they will add more features to it soon though.

BTW, get ready for some serious wave of spamming from Buzz. Anyone can add you (or the word for buzz is 'follow') you without your consent. Worse, you can't stop them. If they spam, there is nothing you can do. Worse- it will all end up in your mailbox. You can stop it from the mailbox, but you have to use a filter for that.
