BTW guys, Is there any software which can make the vieo move frame by frame.Using that we may be able to take out the time the ball took to piitch.Taking in account that most of the deliveries in donalds spell above wre yorkers we can take the distance to be 20 yards and find out what speed he is bowling. I am not good with this software kind of things if anyone can help regarding this may be we can find out what sort of speed some of these bowlers used to bowl at.

Indeed. But the 90s were a VERY good time for those of us who got a few laughs out of watching England lose. Aaah, the pwnage in India in 1993, the thrashings by Aus in the Ashes, hammerings at the hands of the Windies, more Ashes thrashings, losing a home series to NZ, more thrashings to Australia - though nothing tops the sheer humiliation of Jayasuriya making a total mockery of them and their 96 World cup approach in the WC quarterfinal.

The 96 Eng team that played in the WC was utter krap ... atleast compared to the 1983 team .... which got soundly thrashed by Ind in Semi-Final ... puncturing some really big fat egos in that Eng team who used to mock the "meek" indian team in those days ... :winky:

Robin Smith was a strange sort. The opposite of the FTB at times. Couldn't play spin to save his life at times, struggled a lot on flatter/slower pitches where the ball might not come onto the bat that quickly - at other times he could be a thrilling batsman to watch. I would love to find some more videos of Smith in his element against quicks as he could hammer them off the back foot - had a brutal cut shot and pull. http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63558.html - is one innings I would really love to watch if a video exists. See, Kapil was always a bowling all rounder for me - whatever he contributed with his batting was always a bonus for me except in his last 3-4 seasons when you expected himself to justify his position with batting. And then bowler was fracking Hemmings - I would have backed Kapil to smash him out of the ground 9 times out of 10, but Hemmings was a wily fox who just slowed it up. Oh man it's stuff of nightmares that ball from Kapil's bat heading towards the midwicket fence and close to billion people egging it to cross the ropes, when in our hearts everyone knew he had mistimed it terribly. But anyhow, there were two good things about that day - Pakis had already lost the previous day and my brother was born that day! :two_thumbs_up:

Yup, RS struggled big time against spinners especially against Warnie. I am not sure if the scorecard that you posted is the one in which he made 167 vs Australia (CI also blocked at work..FML). I love T 20 cricket because it gives people who have real jobs where they have to work really hard & long hours, then spend some quality time with their families & have some phianthropic interest to contribute back to society atleast a chance to follow a sport they love on a real time basis. All the test cricket puritans claiming their ball to ball 5 days following of every test match are ppl who cheat at their jobs, pretend to work while they horseshit around to watch cricket on their employers money and their co-workers time.
