flamy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Earlier this month it was reported that this season of 24 would likely be the last for the series as the ratings have dropped and Fox seems disinterested in continuing production. At the time it was mentioned that the studio is considering shopping the series to other networks, but everyone believed that interest would probably be limited due to the high costs involved. It was later reported that Fox has been approached by NBC to pick up the series. But that last ditch effort did not come through. Sooda Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Well I havent seen seasons 7 and 8, but it is becoming a bit tired I think. The first threeish rocked and then it became all samey. S6 is not great. Good news really, should leave on a relative high. I do hope they do not make a film of it. S1 is still the best for me, the way it ended and the second last ( I think) ep where Jack thinks his daughter is dead and goes mental and kills everyone- he has never bettered that in terms of sheer badassness.
