Is 'ordinary' an inappropriate word?

Well, supporting freedom of speech and supporting the contents of the speech are two different things. I am supporting freedom of speech here. By saying that I won't be surprised if an ordinary side like RR plays extraordinary cricket to get in to semis and then even win it says that despite looking ordinary, RR shouldn't be taken lightly You have to learn to understand what's being implied. Unnecessary spoon feeding is a waste of time Again before trying to imply that Indians don't respect if criticism is targeted towards them you have to understand whether that 'lack of respect' is shown towards the content of the opinion or the right to air ones' opinion :winky:
Let me rephrase what I said earlier, if and when an Aussie or other cricket teams say that about India, suddenly your support of free speech will be gone and it will rightly be taken as a sign of disrespect unlike GG who have said similarly. And how can you justify RR is an ordinary side? Based on one game or based on their overall performances, I know which one will I choose, the latter one in which RR is undoubtedly one of the best teams in IPL if not the best.

What's the point of rephrasing when what you said is already been addressed to? Is rephrasing going to change my response or the fact that you shouldn't be generalizing without having a clue as to how people like me go about. I must say your generalization is comical without even knowing how people like me react to criticism of Indian team by 'other'. May be you are speaking about yourself! Until, you don't grasp where the 'disrespect' is shown, i.e. whether towards the right to air opinion or the content of the opinion, there is no point in trying to discuss your opinion As I said before, for me (as an RR fan) how people rate 'RR' is not an issue so I don't look for justifications. It is a side that is capable of extra ordinary performances and upsetting the top rated sides. I won't be surprised if it even wins the tourney upsetting the favs
