When that moron Miandad does not have a problem in living in a country that is run by Dictators and Terrorists Roam the Streets like vagabonds -- what problem can he have about IPL which was run by a petty thief who was caught smoking cocaine 25 years ago? I couldn't care less about the IPL, simply because it's a showboating advertising fiesto, the viewing is just so poor because of the constant adverts that it puts me off watching the cricket altogether. The standard of bowling is so poor, mainly because the overseas players selected, usually only one is a bowler. As for this IPL mess, well it's an Indian tournament so the BCCI should have 80% of the say, but since there are so many overseas players and staff, the ICC has to also get a say. I only take note of what the great Imran Khan has to say from our former players, the rest are full of horse crap.

A lot of you say that you cannot care less about IPL yet Afridi is whinging about being not selected, Tanvir is talking about hindu mentality of Indians on national TV, your cable companies make grandstand statements about not showing IPL but yet show them anyway, PCB chairman spends more time threatening BCCI and begging ICC than on its cricket, Miandad who has managed to run paki team into the ground is giving advice on how to run the most successful Cricket board and you are here arguing about how IPL should be run. Maybe when PCB's main income is not by fining its players or begging ICC, it graduate from drinking the water from the loo BCCI shits on, till then all the Pakis should be concerned about who PCB is going to beg next. Reg. ICC getting 20% of say is like your boss telling you on your wedding day "Look mate, I know you love the girl and she loves you. You have done well for her. You wined her, dined her and now marrying her. But i get to fk her 20% of the time". If IPL, the most successful domestic cricket tournament should be run by ICC, I wonder what miandad thinks about UN or US running Pakistan, considering that pak is at the bottom of the pool. Get over it King2Be. IPL is NOT a friggin International Tournament. I am not sure why you want to beat the point that is not valid in any which way . It is purely an employer - employee relationship. Period Bar None. Going by your asinine logic even T20 State Teams in RSA, South AFrica and NZ will have to be managed by ICC. Why stop at IPL? You don't seem to have a god damned problem about rest of the teams, you seem to be very particular about India -- why so ?

I'm not bothered about who runs the IPL like I said many times, I couldn't care less if the Pope ran it, but what I as a cricket lover would like to see is, a tournament without the insane number of adverts that we see in the IPL. I'm sure some people aren't bothered by it, but a lot of viewers are. That is the only thing I care about, watch cricket of good quality without absurd amounts of advertising and cringeworthy terms like Karbon catches.

No other country has as many overseas players and staff in their domestic structure. But when a tournament does involve so many international, I feel it should have some input from the world body. I say this thinking about the poor state our own cricket structure is. Of course the Indian domestic scene is leagues ahead in every aspect and doesn't need much input. But thats up to India, their event, their success and their problem. As for the guy who said Afridi cares and Tanvir cares about how the IPL is run, well maybe they do, but note one thing, I don't. IPL organization committee is going thro a rough patch yet it doesnt affect the players. But PCB is about as worse as it get;broke, cheating players, obscure sackings,fining players. Yet i dont see you asking someone else to take over. Your players and board are reeking with hatred about Indians, while our players has nothing to say abt pak and yet here you are talking about Hatred. How do the number of players matter? I simply fail to understand. Quite clearly you have out on your India goggles on and want to see the whole world through. Coming to 2nd point -- about your domestic structure being bad -- I Have asked this question a Million Bloody Times on this forum -- Why do you keep comparing your structure to India's structure. India is NOT Pakistan and Pakistan is NOT India. Get away from your India obsession. India has moved away from Pakistan long long long ago. India and Pakistan are not similar in any god damned thing. Coming back to IPL -- Yes it has its problems. But Guess what -- the day the problems are found -- the very next day the Govt was on their backs and their Chief was thrown out in 6 days and a new Chief comes in Now how many days has it been -- the PCB Chief has been swiping money? After every god damned tour the report mentions about Financial Irregularities and Missing Money which is not accounted for. What has Pakistan done? They have to make money. Compared to the money involved in IPL, money involved in international cricket is peanuts. There will be excessive commercialization. Talking about IPL : Personnaly, I think that IPL is formidable for indian cricket but not so good for international cricket. So that will be kind, if the indians could at least reduce the length of it. Because there is so much money that all international players will come here, and as a CRICKET FAN it's sad that for 2 months we have not quality International cricket played... I find IPL boring but nt because it's Indian PL but because it's T20, and so the same applies for Big bash and other domestic T20 matches...
