The Outsider Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I think there would have been some MPs from the House of Lords to play for England and of course some princes for India, but is Jayasuriya the first MP elected by the people to feature in an international match?
mhr123 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Yes. yes :aha: abey saaloo .. tum logo ko itni kushi kyou ho rahee hai :bigsurprise:
mastana Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 lol Sri Lankan fans hate him these days. But some indians love him. He is still a good cricketer. Gives his 100% always. Better fielder than Munaf, Nehra, Ishant, Murali Kathik,.......... combined. :hehe:
SJS50 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Is Sehwag the first man from son Najafgarh to score a Test triple hundred? Is Dhoni the first Garhwali to captain India? Is Azhar the first Indian Muslim captain, married to an actress to be elected to parliament? Is Gavaskar the first man saved from ending up as a fisherman's son (and perhaps making fish catching records) to be discovered by an alert mama who noticed a hole in the new born's ear? Is Siddhu the first failed stodgy opener, turned successful aggressive opener, turned good cricket commentator, turned lousy stand up comedian to win three consecutive elections to the Indian parliament? Dont we cricket fan's love records ? Bring them on !
