I think without Sehwag, Aussie batting has more firepower than India, because of their top order. Gambhir is not a utter destroyer like Watson or Warner..and M. Vijay played that one great knock in IPL, but overall is not powerhouse hitter. I think our bowling IN THESE CONDITIONS will be more handful on most pitches in WI compared to the Aussie attack. Now it all depends on the Barbados track - if that favors pacers like it traditionally does, then Aussies are much stronger. Who else thinks only INDIA can beat this Aussie side ? Imagine our team with Sehwag for M.Vijay and Uthappa for R.Jadeja. Gambhir - Watson M.Vijay - Warner Raina - Clarke Yuvraj - D.Hussey Dhoni - M.Hussey Pathan - White R.Jadeja - Haddin Bhajji - Johnson Pravin K. - Smith Chawla - Nannes Nehra - Tait.

Well Veeru has always been inconsistent in the shorter formats. But he almost always makes utmost use of the balls he faces. A 10 ball 20 from Sehwag is more useful than a 20 ball 27 from a Murali. Vijay or Karthik. Seeing the slow start we had today, an average Sehwag knock might have seen us close to 200.

australia remain significantly superior in bowling and fielding. batting, little to choose. vijay will take time to settle down intrernationally.but he can slaughter attacks when he gets the confidence and advanved skills. uthappa is required to even things with the aussies.

Indian batting can give competition to Aus batting but their bowling is a joke. India rely on part timers like Yuvi & Raina despite selecting specialist bowlers. Only team that has a better pace attack than Aus is Pakistan.

Add Bollingam and Harris Naidu to Aussie bowling line up they would be formidable. Same way Add uthappam to India they will be decent too.

Zaheer is better bowler than Razzak but only slightly in 20/20s becuase he can bowl yorkers. In tests, both are pretty mediocre as their averages suggests which are in mid 30s. Great bowlers averages in 20s like Asif & Steyn.
