HowardRoark Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 In its quest to maintain India's No.1 Test ranking the BCCI has sent a proposal to Cricket Australia to convert the seven-match ODI series in October to two Tests and three ODIs. Why do they make it look like a selfish and evil motive from BCCI and India? Don't they understand that losing tests can make India move way down the ranking table too? They write as if India's number 1 position is guaranteed by more tests.

truth Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Hope there is no pressure from ICC (Haroon Lorgat) and PCB for any matches to be played against Pakistan, for the sake of making money for corrupted PCB this year. India vs Australia series would be a welcoming one, which will test the Indian Batsmen and Bowlers time to inject some fresh blood and test them .................
dial_100 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 I will even take a 5 match timeless test series against Zimbabwe over the bull-manure otherwise known as Tontee-Tontee ... Anytime bro...me as well.. I wasn't wrong in trashing tontee-tontee...but again ppl are enjoying it and nothing wrong with it.

Looking very good for us now. 3 tests vs SL in Jul-Aug 2 tests vs Aus in Oct 3 tests vs NZ at home in Nov-Dec 3 tests vs SA in Dec-Jan 11 tests before the 2011 WC :yay::yay: And once the WC is over, 4 tests vs WI in WI in May-June, 4 tests vs Eng in Eng in July-Aug, 3 vs WI at home in Oct-Nov and then the big one, 4 tests vs Aus in Aus in Dec2011-Jan 2012. 15 tests in 12 months after the WC. A grand total of 26 tests (with 18 of them away from home in SL, SA, WI, Eng and Aus) in the next 2 years:yay::yay:
Zelig Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Phlat pitches...400+ scores in a day:yawn2: Make better sporting pitches and get the younger audience :woot: ps; I'll be away to uni anyway:aetsch:
Maha_Apa Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 How long can India keep inviting other team to play in India on sub standard pitches to maintain # 1 rankings?? They have to beat goods teams like Pak,SA,Aus & SL away before anyone take India ranking seriously. India have lost their last away series in the test nations mentioned.
