Relaunch World Series & A New Format - Suggestion To ICC

I think a world series should be started with 10 non test playing teams The format should be: 40 overs or 35 overs Two groups of 5 teams each will play home and away three matches then the semis and finals It would extend for 5 months It would be only for these non-test playing teams. For example: Group A Namibia Uganda Kenya UAE Argentina Group B Holland Canada Ireland Scotland Afghanistan China 3 home and away matches in group stage, best of three semi finals and finals. Following would be a SPECIAL MATCH between the winner of this and the winner of the ICC World Cup. It will have big budget proper marketing and coveraged around the world by reputed channels, and each team will play country only 6 matches per month 3 at home & 3 away country. The 3 Finals will be in selected grounds around the world it will help talents from these countries like Ryan Ten Doeschate ,Dockrell to get recognition teams will be grouped so dat they req min travelling.......we will get sponsors no doubt..icc will itself be the biggest sponsor and we can rope in sachin tendulkar,ganguly,mcgrath as ambassadors the tv audiences will not get bored bcoz of a new format called Pro35 10+4 overs of powerplay 14 ovs of spinplay(cont. spin) 5 ovs of freeplay match length 4hrs 30 mins the jersey designs and tv graphics and presentation will be awesome and stadium facilities improved Matches will be held only on wed/sat/sun

How should India and BCCI help to GLOBALIZE CRICKET ? Cricket is a game that needs globalization. Cricket is played and followed very seriously in just 9 Nations. How can India help to take this number to 30 say in the next four years before the 2015 WORLD CUP ???? These are my suggestions. 1.Gather funds of around $500 million (Its nothing to them after the 3 IPLs). 2.Select the 20 countries to help(continent wise) : My list is : Holland Scotland Ireland Denmark Belgium Israel Namibia Kenya Zimbabwe Uganda Argentina Chile Belize Canada USA China Honk Kong Malaysia Afghanistan Kuwait Papua New Guinea List may change according to needs. I have selected these nations as they already have quite good teams and cricket history and development is more feasible bcoz of large area & population(esp.China,Canada,USA & Argentina) 3.Set up a cricket league in these countries. A league for each format 1.FC 2.Pro40 3.T20 with 6 proper clubs and full time contracted players. It will require funds of around $20 million $1 million each nation may vary on profit basis. Funds will be used to give the players full time contracts and marketing the leagues and help get franchise owners for the clubs. 4.Set up a few international competitions like WORLD SERIES for their national teams. Funds around $15 million for WORLD SERIES. 5.Recruit a few talented players in IPL teams. This will help to make cricket popular in these nations and encourage the youth. 6.Help these nations to build proper infrastructure and coaching facilities. Funds around $300 million will be kept for this. 7.Give their players exposure by letting a few of our players play in their domestic leagues. After these 7 steps are implemented we can have ICC WORLD CUP 2015 with 24 -30 teams. What do u think ?? and what more steps are needed plz let me know.....

Cricket's Newest Format Pro 35 Evolution This is the suggestion for a new format. T20 is too short for atleast 2 batsmen to get centuries or a batsman to score 150+ in an innings and too short for a bowler to take 7 wickets whereas it takes 7.5 hours for an ODI (50 ovs) to end too boring. The solution of this problem is Pro35 35 overs each team First 16 overs (first 10 ovs of fielding restrictions(powerplay)) 14 overs of spinplay (next 14 ovs of mandatory continous spin bowling) 5 overs of freeplay (no such restrictions as above) 4 more overs of powerplay can be taken any time 7 overs each bowler Match length : 3.5 to 4hrs 15mins This format will help cricket as : It will eliminate the slambam of T20 and boredom of 50 ovs. It will make cricket more entertaining if 2 batsmen get centuries (or a batman gets a 150+ score like 163* unlike 105 or 120 in T20s & a bowler gets 7 wickets ) and substantial the word is subtance which T20 doesnt have at all. The spinplay will help to fasten the overrate and thus less duration and more crowds and TV viewers.It will make cricket more strategic. It will help to create bigger individual performances and superstars.

He is saying that this format will give a CHANCE to 2 batsmen to get a century. But you don't HAVE to get 2 centuries. In T20 format, its kind of impossible for 2 batsmen to get centuries.
