Rohit had always talent but it was just the issue to implement this into runs.now he has shown his master class wid his classy hundreds and i think that this is the right time to give him confidence by selecting in test team in place of yuvraj who is really struggling wid form ,fitness and every other thing.Rohit has always been considered as top most batting talent of india.IAN CHAPPEL,who is big critic of indian cric, thinks dat,"rohit is the most talented batsman of india after sachin that i have seen.he has all the qualities to be a great batsman as sachin, lara ,ponting.he had so much time to see the ball and then hit it effortlessly that i havent seen in any batsman."

Nt sure abt kohli though.he can be taken in squad but in playing XI,it seems a bit difficult as rohit is most probable to make it in place of yuvi.but kohli has to wait not too long.

++,kohli is most consistent young player, he deserves a long run ,he has not been with the team only becoz of talent like rohit, who was in team more for his talent than performance

Kohli is a consistent performer till now but he is not god gifted as rohit.some players have their own charm by the grace of god and rohit is surely one of them.i agree that rohit has not performed acc to his talent.but i remember that the grt sachin hit his 1st century after 50-60 odis.so trust this guy and give him a go.

how can u put just talent above performance.Virat has done well whereas Rohit has failed.should be an easy choice

Not really an easy choice. They selectors should find both spots for these two and see how they go rather then just picking one.

there arent any spots unless we keep playing second string team.UV 's spot is in danger wrt WC i would pick Kohli instead

In test mathes u need real talents who can win mathes for u.rohit has dat talent while kohli dont seem to be that talented.u see sehwag, gambhir, sachin, dravid, laxman r special talents.kohli, raina seem to have odi and t20 abilities.their shots r nt ideal for test cricket and dats why raina or kohli dont have big hundreds or double hundred under their belt in 1st class matches while rohit has played some big innings like 237 in ranji season.

Lets not jump the gun already. He's playing well against 2 second-string teams. His real test will be playing the Kiwi's et al. I see him retaining his place once the big boys come back.

Even Don used to say he can name many more talented batsmen but what probably set him apart was his ability to concentrate. Talent or no talent Kohli has used his opportunities so far ( though mostly again SL and Bangla) more judiciously than Sharma and i for one will not complain Kohli been given the first go

UV is not going nowhere. He is too big a deal to be dropped in favor of Kohli.
yes Dhoni will ensure that mate is in the team.ideally i would like both UV n Zak to be dropped so that there is a message for younsters to work on fitness. but then again,i also wish to be a millionare:((
