@Ayush, Andy 1. Guys, I can say for sure that EPL gained popularity in india arnd 6-7 years back due to chelsea playing the most fluent and stylish football, used to be very catchy. If you asked any neutral fan at that time, he'd say that he loves to watch chelsea. Although Manu , Arsenal have had few grt footballers in giggs, henry, schols, ronaldo, rooney but I think they have been no match for Drogba, Robben, Gujohnsen, Duff , Joe Cole, Lampard, eissen, ballack, shevchenko and the likes. 2. Chelsea sure do have to win a Champion league trophy to enhance their reputation but there is no denying the fact that they have been the most successful club in EPL since 2004.

Since You didnt know an Eff about the Premier League teams doesnt mean it was the case with everyone. Yes the Popularity increased for sure, But even back those days BPL Teams were MORE popular than teams of Other leagues. And Chelsea playing attractive football? Chelsea were the Most defensive teams. If wining means being attractive to You then i rest my Case. Arsenal were the Most attractive and Continue to be till this Date. Followed By United. in the last 5 seasons ManUtd have scored 389 goals and Chelsea 372. Chelsea have usually played defensibly (specially in days of Mourinho) and ManUtd, having players like Ronaldo (till 2009 at least), Rooney, Giggs, Berba etc have never played defensive football.

B-B I still think despite we have won so far, Defeating Chelsea at Tampered Bridge is the most difficult thing to do, I do not remember when we beat them in last 6 years. But United will go on to win the title this season irrespective of what happens next week. Wont be surprised of United loses next week.
