Texy Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 PAKISTAN fans hurled plastic drink bottles at Australian players after their team's 23-run win in the first Twenty20 international at Edgbaston today. Australia not only lost the match but had to contend with ugly scenes from the huge Pakistan contigent in the Birmingham crowd. Several bottles were thrown at the Australian dugout, and vice-captain Cameron White had to intercept one of the missiles before it hit a teammate. Captain Michael Clarke reported the incident to match officials and security staff and, as a result, the on-field presentations were moved away from the boundary edge and closer to the centre of the ground. Security is sure to be beefed up for the return T20 battle at the same venue tomorrow. source pretty disgusting behavior considering 80% of the fans were full [edit]. Usually a lot of these guys are born in UK and support Pakistan and get involved in brawls and crass behavior..

King Tendulkar Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Thats why I put and Co. No doubt from slums of leeds/Luton/Forest Gate etc as well. O well after a few more games paks will have run out of money and will not be able to afford tickets for more of the games. As only so far the doll money will stretch! Although their illegal money may fund some tickets

achilles Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Australia lost the right to complain about crowds after this- Not defending Pakistan, but its not like the Aussie fans are Angels from Heaven.

King Tendulkar Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 And to think they can be such yobs and hoodlums without alchol inside them. At least others have the excuse of saying we were drunk! Too much red bull maybe?

Too much red bull maybe? Do you even live in England ? There are plenty of Pakistanis who drink as well - I am not saying that was the reason for the small minority of them being idiots yesterday.

As then the pretence of religiousness takes over! As the crowd was 99% pak , no way any paks would drink in front of other paks. When no paks around and they are with the massess then yeah a few of them do drink. Although that is becoming rarer now as the new generation of young paks in UK are much more religious now then say 15 years ago!

According to our Paki Friends On This Forum -- such behavior is only restricted to Indian Crowds. Wow ! -- How could the ever decent, don;t know how to spell beer, don't know how to spell bottle, don't know how to spell can -- throw bottles on to the field ? Question is when will the British realize -- they are a rodent infested country and will act accordingly?

Oh wait -- you are a Paki -- "we never accept anything -- we blame every body else "
