Herculus Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 The coverage of star cricket is an eye soar. The quality becomes more poor when India plays. The blue graphics are sick to look at. The anchors are a bore especially Gautam Bhimani. Lack of live cricket mostly highlights. No shows or coverage of the associates. Disorganised calender & lack of proper ads. Sky Sports New Zealand and Channel 9 gives far better coverage.
diegovegaz Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 star cricket has the best coverage in india, compared to neo or ten they usually borrow feed from the host nations, coz all matches from india are to be telecast on neo yes, the anchors are a headache
achilles Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I know. But I would pick Star Cricket over any other cricket broadcasting channel in India. The least they do is show a 6 ball over and a replay after the wicket falls. And their commentary team is also good.
DomainK Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I would rate that the best cricket/sports channel in India. It's primarily because of what they show when they have no live cricket. They show good old matches unlike the stupid programs that neo cricket or other sports channels show.

Laaloo Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 neo sports got the best sports/cricket channel award twice That doesn't mean ****!!!!
achilles Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 neo sports got the best sports/cricket channel award twice Watch one match at peace on NS and return to tell the tale. They can be so bad at times that I'd even pick Doordarshan's broadcast of the same game over NS. Coz DD shows replays and 6 ball overs and avoids taking longer breaks towards the end and stuff.
Sachinism Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 neo sports got the best sports/cricket channel award twice Yeh they bloody remind us during the broadcast with the bloody logo
Gunner_Mania Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Don't tell me you propose to now start a new cricket channel as part of your revolution?
Herculus Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Yeh they bloody remind us during the broadcast with the bloody logo yup absolutely right
Herculus Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Don't tell me you propose to now start a new cricket channel as part of your revolution? how did you know ???

achilles Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 the broadcat of Sky Sports New Zealand is awesome with black cool graphics have you seen their telecast ?? Yes. It looks awesome.
Herculus Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Yes. It looks awesome. The coverage of ESPN of the 90s was also very cool those simple graphics and scorecards
iHammad Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Seems like you concentrate more on the graphics than the cricket itself...
achilles Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 The coverage of ESPN of the 90s was also very cool those simple graphics and scorecards Agreed. It was great in the past. And commentary team of Shaz & Waz, the 2004 tour Down Under, wow.... that was the highest point in ESS Group's cricket broadcasting.
ZodiaC Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 No way. Star cricket is by far the best cricket broadcasting channel in India. And the best part is there's no Laxman Shiv, Arun lal, etc
achilles Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 And no Sri Lankan self-obsessed commentators. Btw, which channel was recently showing Venky & Marvan in the analysis show?
